Vikings-Bears Wednesday injury Report: Evans, Addison, Davenport limited
USA TODAY Sports

Three key Vikings starters — wide receiver Jordan Addison, cornerback Akayleb Evans, and outside linebacker Marcus Davenport — were limited participants in Wednesday's practice. Everyone else on the active roster was able to practice in full.

Addison is apparently dealing with an ankle injury. Evans suffered a knee contusion in last week's game against the Chiefs. Davenport is listed as having an elbow injury, so that's a new issue unrelated to the ankle injury that kept him out of the first three games.

The fact that all three were limited participants on Wednesday bodes well for their availability against the Bears on Sunday in Chicago, but it'll be worth tracking their involvement over the next two days.

Kene Nwangwu (back) had his practice window opened and was a full participant, so it's possible he could be activated this week. Lewis Cine (hamstring) was also a full participant, so he should be back on special teams this weekend. Justin Jefferson and Nick Mullens aren't listed on the injury report because they're on injured reserve.

For the Bears, five players, including three running backs, got DNPs on Wednesday. Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson, and Travis Homer all were unable to practice, meaning D'Onta Foreman and Darryton Evans were Chicago's only healthy RBs. Herbert is expected to be out this week, but Johnson may have a chance to clear concussion protocol.
